James Rose
Landscape Design
The stunning and unique design of the grounds surrounding the building are being painstakingly restored to preserve the concepts visualized by Mr. Rose. Rose was one of the pioneers of modernism in landscape architecture, rebelling against conventional landscape theory and designs. His work here is one of the only surviving examples of his style applied to a non-residential application and is the primary feature in his 1987 book "The Heavenly Environment".

Sculpture Garden Design
Ernest Shaw began his career as a psychiatrist. After a decade, he became dissatisfied with his practice and began to pursue his interest in art making as a vehicle for self expression. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions at such noted galleries and museums as the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Daytona Beach, FL and Sculpture Center, New York City, NY. His work is included in museum and university collections throughout the US.
